Mahindra XUV700 Prices Increased; First 25000 Units Booked In 1 Hour

Mahindra has today started accepting pre-orders for the newly launched XUV700 mid-sized SUV, which is offered in 5-and 7-seat layouts. The SUV was introduced at an introductory price tag of Rs 11.99 lakh for the base model and Rs 22.89 lakh for the top-spec model. These prices were applicable only to first 25,000 buyers.

Mahindra has officially announced that the first batch of the XUV700, which is 25,000 units, now sold out. The first batch is booked in just 57 minutes, which shows the popularity of the SUV. The bookings for the SUV are now closed, and will reopen tomorrow with revised prices. The company has shared the revised price list of the Mahindra XUV700.

Mahindra XUV700 New Prices

The base price of the new Mahindra XUV700 is increased by 50,000. The base MX trim is now priced at Rs 12.49 lakh for petrol MT & Rs 12.99 lakh for diesel MT. The AX Series is available in 4 trim levels – AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7 Luxury – priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 22.99 lakh.

The new XUV700 is offered with two engine options – a 2.0L 4-cylinder, mStallion turbocharged petrol and a 2.2L 4-cylinder mHawk turbocharged diesel. The petrol engine is capable of producing 200bhp and 380Nm of torque. The diesel engine offers two states of tunes – 155bhp/360Nm with MX version and 185bhp/420Nm (450Nm with AT) with AdrenoX AX trim. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The diesel engine also offers 4 driving modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom. These drive modes are claimed to alter performance and steering response.

It is the first model in its segment to offer ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) with features such as adaptive cruise control, drowsiness detection, blind spot detection, autonomous emergency braking and lane keep assist. It also gets ALEXA connectivity with voice command compatibility, and WiFi.
