After increasing the prices of the Scorpio N, Mahindra has now hiked the prices of the XUV700 SUV. The Mahindra XUV700 has now received its fourth price hike since its launch in August 2021. The SUV’s prices were previously increased in September 2022. The SUV was originally launched at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh.
The prices of the base MX variants of the Mahindra XUV700 remains the same; however, rest of the variants have received price hikes. The SUV’s petrol range has received a price hike of up to Rs 50,000, while the diesel version is now costlier by up to Rs 64,000.

The new Mahindra XUV700 petrol range starts at Rs 13.45 lakh, which goes up to Rs 23.60 lakh for the top-spec model. The AX3 MT 5-seater entry-level variant is now costlier by Rs 39,000, while the AX3 5-seater AT & AX5 5-seater MT gets expensive by up to Rs 41,000. The AX5 7-seater MT is now costlier by Rs 41,000, while the AX5 AT 5-seater gets expensive by Rs 43,000. The AX7 MT, AX7 AT and AX7 AT L are now costlier by Rs 44,000, Rs 47,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.

The XUV700 diesel range now starts at Rs 13.96 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.48 lakh for the top-spec model. The base AX3 MT 5-seater witnessed a price hike of Rs 39,000, while the top-spec AX7 AT 7-Seat L AWD is now costlier by Rs 53,000. The AX7 AT variant sees the biggest increase of Rs 64,000.
Engine Specifications
The Mahindra XUV700 is available with two engine options – a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L turbo diesel. The petrol engine produces 200PS of power and 380Nm of torque. The diesel engine offers two states of tunes – 155bhp/360Nm and 185bhp/420NM (MT) & 185bhp/450Nm (AT). The MX Series gets the 155bhp version of the diesel engine.
