Mahindra & Mahindra announced prices of the new Scorpio-N manual variants on 27th June 2022. The carmaker has also confirmed that bookings for the SUV’s new model will begin from 30th July, 11am onwards. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle online or at any Mahindra dealership across India. Deliveries will be made on first-come-first-serve basis in the festive season.
Test drives will start from 5th July in select 30 cities and from 15th July in rest of the cities. One must note that the current prices will be applicable only for the first 25,000 bookings. Prices of the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N 4X4 and automatic variants (6-seater) will be revealed on 21st July 2022. It’s 4X4 variant – Scorpio N 4Xplorer – will be positioned top of the line. It’s estimated to cost around Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about specs, the new Scorpio has been made available with the 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol (200PS/380Nm) and 2.2L mHawk diesel (132PS with 300Nm/ 175PS with upto 400Nm) engine options. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are on offer. The diesel variant comes with 3 driving modes – Zip, Zap and Zoom.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N 4Xplorer has 4 off-road modes – Mud, Sand, Grass and Snow. The SUV has been equipped with shift-on-fly 4WD system with low and high range gearbox, mechanical rear locking and front brake locking differential.
This time around, Mahindra has packed the Scorpio with lots of advanced goodies right from a touchscreen infotainment system with AdrenoX tech-pack to connected car tech, wireless phone charging, electric sunroof, ESC, hill hold/descent assist and driver drowsiness detection system. The list of features also includes dual zone AC, front and rear parking camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, up to 6 airbags and more.
Major changes have been made to its design as well. The new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N has more angular stance inspired by the XUV700. The SUV model lineup comes in 6 and 7-seats configurations.
