Kinetic Green has finally launched the E-Luna at an introductory price of Rs 69,990 in India (ex-showroom, Delhi). Not just Kinetic, Lectrix EV has also introduced the LXS 2.0 electric scooter at a price tag of Rs 79,999.
Kinetic E-Luna
The E-Luna has retained the simple and usable design of the previous model; however, it lacks the signature pedals. Customers can remove the rear seat to create additional storage space. Weighing just 96kg, the new Kinetic E-Line has a seat height of just 760mm. The company claims that the electric Luna can carry loads of up to 150kg.
Powering the Kinetic E-Luna is a 2kWh battery, wich is claimed to offer a range of 110kg. The battery can be fully charged in just 4 hours. Kinetic has also announced that the electric Luna will also receive two more variants with battery capacities of 1.7kWh and 3.0kWh, and latter is claimed to offer 150km of a range on a single charge. The hub-mounted motor is rated at 2.2kW and 22Nm, and the E-Luna is claimed to have a top speed of 50kmph. Suspension setup includes a telescopic front fork and twin- shock absorbers at the rear.
The Kinetic E-Luna rides on 16-inch wheels wrapped in tube-type TVS Eurogrip tyres. For braking, it comes with drum brakes at both ends. It offers a digital dash, 3-riding modes, a USB charging port and side stand cut-off. The E-Luna will be offered in 5 colours – Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Black.
Lectrix LXS 2.0 EV
The Lectrix LXS 2.0 electric scooter comes with a range of 98kms and is equipped with a 2.3kW battery pack. Interested buyers can book the LXS 2.0 and deliveries will begin from March 2024 onwards. The electric scooter rides on 10-inch wheels wrapped with 90/110 and 110/90 section tyres in the front and rear, respectively. This electric scooter comes with an ample storage space of 25-litres.
