Kia Seltos X Line Officially Revealed; First Look Video

Korean automaker, Kia has officially revealed the new Seltos X Line variant in the Indian market. It will be the new top-of-the-line variant in the Seltos line-up. The new Kia Seltos X Line comes with some exterior design changes and minimal changes inside the cabin. There are no changes under the bonnet.

The new Kia Seltos X Line comes fitted with segment-largest 18-inch crystal-cut matte graphite alloy wheels. It gets the new Indigo Pera leatherette upholstery. The SUV comes with orange accents and gloss black inserts all around the body. The orange accents are offered on the lower part of the grille, lower rear bumper and on the bottom of the side doors.

The 2021 Kia Seltos X Line is finished in a matte paint job, which is called ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite.’ The chrome elements and ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) have been blacked out to offer sporty look.

The cabin layout remains the same, except for the few changes. It gets leatherette upholstery in a blue shade – Kia calls it Indigo Pera. The seats got the same pattern that we have already seen on the Seltos Tech Line variant. This top-of-the-line variant is equipped with all the features that are accessible in the current top-spec model.

In terms of features, the Seltos X-Line gets automatic climate control with rear AC vents, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 360 degree camera, ambient lighting, integrated Air purifier, etc. The SUV gets a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Kia UVO Connected car tech. It gets eight-speaker premium Bose sound system.

The X-Line has six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme), tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, brake assist, front parking sensors, road grip control and many more.

Kia Seltos X Line Revealed

The 2021 Kia Seltos X-Line is offered with the existing engine options – a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.4-litre petrol engine. While the former is good for 113bhp and 250Nm of torque, the turbocharged petrol engine churns out a 138bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. The vehicle could also get the regular 1.5L NA petrol engine that offers 113bhp and 144Nm of torque. It is expected that the top-spec variant will only come in automatic gearbox option. The diesel will have 6-speed torque convertor, while 1.4L and 1.5L petrol engines will have 7DCT and CVT respectively.
