Kia Clavis Name Trademarked – Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch Rival?

Kia, the South Korean automotive giant, has recently secured the trademark for the name “Clavis” in India. While official details remain undisclosed, speculations suggest that the Clavis moniker is earmarked for an upcoming product slated to make its debut within the next few years. Reports circulating within the industry propose that the Kia Clavis could potentially be a micro SUV, poised to rival the Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch.

If these rumors hold true, the new Kia small SUV is anticipated to share its platform, features, and powertrain with the Hyundai Exter. Additionally, there’s speculation that Kia might introduce a mid-size sedan, sharing its underpinnings with the Hyundai Verna. However, the likelihood of this happening appears diminished due to the significant downturn observed in the sedan segment in the country.
