Hyundai Venue Variants Rejigged: July 2021 Price List

Korean automaker, Hyundai has recently launched the Alcazar 7-seater SUV based on the Creta’s platform. The company is also readying several new models alongside updating its existing line-up. After updating the Creta and Grand i10 Nios, Hyundai has now rejigged the variant lineup of the Venue compact SUV in India.

Hyundai has discontinued a total of five variants. The company has discontinued the base E 1.5 diesel MT and S 1.5 diesel MT from the Venue line-up. Petrol variants discontinued are S 1.0 petrol iMT, S 1.0 petrol DCT and SX (O) 1.0 petrol MT.

Hyundai has also added new variants to the Venue line-up, which includes S (O) and SX (O) Executive. The S (O) trim is offered with 3 engine-gearbox options – 1.0L petrol with iMT and DCT and 1.5L diesel with MT. These variants are also offered with an option of Steel Wheel. The new SX (O) Executive is available with the 1.5-litre diesel engine with manual gearbox.

Hyundai has also ipdated the Bluelink connected car tech. The new SX (O) Executive trim comes with newly developed steel wheels instead of alloy wheels. It continues to offer electric sunroof. The new Hyundai Venue line-up is now available in the price bracket of Rs 6.92 lakh to Rs 11.61 lakh (ex-showroom). The Venue S (O) Turbo iMT is priced at Rs 9.04 lakh, while the S(O) Turbo DCT costs Rs 9.94 lakh. The S (O) diesel and SX (O) Diesel Executive are priced at Rs 9.45 lakh and Rs 10.97 lakh respectively.

The Hyundai Venue is available in 3 engine options – a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol. The NA engine produces 83PS of power and 114Nm of torque, and is offered with 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5L diesel engine churns out 99bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels is offered as standard.

The 1.0L turbocharged petrol is capable of producing 118bhp of power and 172Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, iMT and a 7-speed DCT.
