Hyundai Venue Achieves 3 Lakh Sales Mark; Updated Model Coming Soon

Hyundai Venue, the subcompact SUV from the South Korean automaker, has achieved 3 lakh sales milestone in the country. The model has been a volume generator for the company ever since its launch in 2019. Commenting on the Venue’s new sales achievement, Tarun Garg, Director Sales, Marketing & Service Hyundai Motor India said that the subcompact offers many firsts including Advanced BlueLink connected car technology and iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission). The South Korean automaker will soon give a mid-life update to the Venue. The subcompact SUV model lineup will receive a new Hyundai Venue N-Line variant with sporty design elements such red accents on the lower sections of the revised front and rear bumpers, newly-designed alloy wheels, red inserts on the roof rails and a dual tip exhaust pipe. Inside, the N-Line model is likely to have all-black theme with red accents and ‘N’ logos dotted around the cabin.

A few noticeable changes will be made to its exterior and interior. The new 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will feature a new parametric grille as we have seen on the new-generation Tucson. The new model will also come with the new L-shaped taillamps that will be extended on to the updated boot lid. The rear bumper will also be revised. Interior might receive a new steering wheel with mounted controls and a full digital instrument cluster.

The new Venue facelift is likely to be offered with the same engine and gearbox options, which are available on the pre-facelift version. That means, there will be a 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motors. The new 2022 Hyundai Venue N-Line will source its power from the 1.0L turbo petrol unit.
