It is expected that Honda NX200 could be the brand’s next 200cc Adventure motorcycle. Similar to the Hornet 2.0, the new motorcycle could be based on the Chinese 190 platform. Honda is also selling the CB190X in China. In fact, Atsushi Ogata, President, CEO & MD, HMSI had revealed that the new Hornet 2.0 platform can be used for different categories including the adventure segment.

The Honda NX200 motorcycle could also share the design from the rally-inspired CRF 250L. It is likely to share the engine and components with the Hornet 2.0, which features a 184cc engine boosted with fuel injection technology. This engine is capable of producing 17bhp of power and 16.1Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is also equipped with Honda’s programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) with Honda Eco Technology (HET), which improves fuel economy and performance. The PGM-FI has eight on-board sensors that constantly inject optimum fuel and air mixture to the motor.
