Honda has finally announced the prices of the new Elevate mid-sized SUV at a starting price of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to Rs 16 lakh for the top-end variant. The new Honda Elevate mid-sized SUV will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and the MG Astor.

The Elevate is only available with a single naturally-aspirated petrol engine. On the other hand, all the rivals are offered with multiple engine options including turbo petrol, diesel and strong hybrid tech. Specifications

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that also powers the City sedan. This engine is capable of producing 121PS and 145Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 7-step CVT. On the other hand, the Seltos and Creta are offered with a 1.5-litre engine that produces 115PS and 145Nm of torque. Gearbox choices include a 6-speed manual and a CVT. Similarly, the Grand Vitara is available with a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. This engine is benefitted with a mild hybrid system, which ensures better efficiency. It gets a 6-speed manual and a torque convertor automatic gearbox option.

The SUV is offered in 4 trim levels – SV, V, VX and ZX. Except for the base SV trim, all three trims are offered with both manual and CVT gearbox options.

– The Honda Elevate manual version is priced in the range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 14.90 lakh, while the CVT version costs Rs 13.21 lakh for the V CVT variant and Rs 16 lakh for the top-spec automatic option.

– The Hyundai Creta manual version is priced in the range of Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 15.17 lakh for the top-end variant. The automatic version is priced in the range of Rs 16.33 lakh to Rs 17.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

– The Seltos base petrol manual costs Rs 10.90 lakh and the top-end petrol MT is priced at Rs 15.20 lakh. On the other hand, the automatic Seltos is available in a single variant that costs Rs 16.20 lakh.

– The Grand Vitara mild-hybrid version is priced between Rs 10.70 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.07 lakh. The automatic version is available in the price bracket of Rs 13.60 lakh to Rs 17.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
