Hero Vida V1 Deliveries Start In Bengaluru – Ola S1 Rival

In October 2022, Hero MotoCorp introduced its first electric scooter in two variants – Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro. While the former costs Rs 1.45 lakh, the latter one has been priced at Rs 1.59 lakh. One must note that prices include all connected features, a portable charger and charging service. Now, the company has started deliveries of the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter in Bengaluru. Initially, the e-scooter will be made available in Bengaluru, Jaipur and Delhi.

Talking about the new Hero electric scooter, the V1 Plus has been packed with a 3.44kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of 143km on a single charge. The V1 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a bigger 3.94kWh battery promising a range of 165km. The scooter’s battery has been developed in-house by Hero and these are swappable. While the V1 Plus can do 0 to 40kmph in 3.4 seconds, the V1 Pro do the same in 3.2 seconds. Both variants have a 6kW, electric motor and offer a top speed of 80kmph.

The company says that the Hero Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro are capable to climb inclines over 18 degrees with a pillion on board. It can be done even if the battery is charged up to 60 percent. One can charge its battery at the rate of 1.2km/min by using a fast charger. The V1 Plus and V1 Pro take 5 hours 15 minutes and 5 hours 55 minutes to get charged from 0 to 80 percent via a home charger. The electric scooter offers three riding modes – Eco, Ride and Sports.

The new Hero Vida V1 electric scooter has dual-tone bodywork and features an LED headlamp. It also comes with a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen, cruise control, a two-way throttle and keyless control. There is a proprietary app enabling you to pair your phone to the scooter.
