Hero Maxi Scooter & VIDA To Be Unveiled On Nov 7, 2023 At EICMA

Hero MotoCorp is aiming at premium scooter market, as it is working on two new premium scooters that have been patented. India’s largest two-wheeler maker has released a new teaser that shows three scooters to be unveiled at 2023 EICMA Show.

The teaser reveals that Hero MotoCorp will reveal a new ADV maxi scooter at EICMA 2023. The other two scooters in the teaser are VIDA V1 with a single seat and twin seat layouts. It is expected that the Hero Vida V1 Pro electric scooter will be launched in global markets. The Vida V1 Pro electric scooter features a twin removable battery setup, and the combined setup is 3.94kWh battery pack. It is claimed to offer a real world range of 110km in a single charge and offers a top speed of 80kmph.

The Hero VIDA V1 electric scooter comes with customisable DIY seating, LED projector headlights, a 7-inch TFT display, keyless start and go, cruise control, multiple ride modes with a custom setting, 2-way intelligent throttle and DC fast charging.

Apart from the Vida V1 Pro, Hero MotoCorp will reveal an ADV style maxi scooter at EICMA 2023. In fact, the design of the maxi scooter has already been patented in India. The scooter looks massive, featuring a tall windscreen that offers wind protection. Similar to the Karizma ZMR, the maxi scooter is likely to get adjustable windscreen.

The maxi scooter features a dual headlight setup, large 14-inch wheels, RSU telescopic front forks with long travel and twin shock absorber at the rear. The engine is mounted on swingarm, which is also first from Hero MotoCorp.

If reports are to be believed, the new Hero ADV maxi scooter is likely to get Xtreme 160R 4V’s single-cylinder 163.2cc engine. This engine is capable of producing 150bhp and 14Nm of torque. The new maxi scooter will rival the Yamaha Aerox 155. The fuel tank could be placed on the floor or at the front, which will help Hero to liberate good space in under-seat storage.
