The much-anticipated Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle has finally been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can book the new motorcycle online or at authorised Hero MotoCorp dealerships. Deliveries of the motorcycle to customers will commence from April onwards.
Hero Mavrick 440 – Variant-Wise Prices
The Hero Mavrick 440 is available in 3 variants – Base, Mid and Top – priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.14 lakh and Rs 2.24 lakh, respectively, (ex-showroom pan-India). The company has also introduced a ‘Welcome to Mavrick Club Offer’ which will be available to customers who book the Mavrick 440 before 15th March. They will get a customised Mavrick Kit of Accessories & Merchandise worth Rs 10,000.
Specifications
It is fitted with an Air cooled with oil cooled 2V single-cylinder 440cc ‘TorqX’ engine with electronic fuel injection. This long-stroke engine dishes out 27bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 36Nm at 4,000rpm. Hero claims that 90% of the peak torque is available from just 2000rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch.
The Trellis frame of the Mavrick is suspended with telescopic front fork with 130mm travel and Hydraulic Rear twin shock swingarm mount with 130mm travel. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped with 100/70 and 150/60 section tyres at the front and rear, respectively. For braking, the motorcycle gets 320mm front disc and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS system as standard.
Colour Options & Features
The Mavrick 440 Base variant is available in a single Arctic White colour, while the Mid variant is offered in 2 paint jobs – Fearless Red and Celestial Blue. The Top variant is also available in two paint schemes – Phantom Black and Engima Black.
The Hero Mavrick 440 comes with a comfortable single-seat, easy to use grab handles, mid-set foot pegs and low-set wide handlebar. It features a muscular fuel tank with metal styling body parts, round LED projector headlight, DRLs, and intelligent automatic headlight. The motorcycle has a seat height of 803mm and a ground clearance of 175mm. The motorcycle with alloy wheels has a kerb weight of 187kg, while the Spoke wheel version weighs 191kg. It has a fuel tank of 13.5-litre capacity.
