Hero MotoCorp is ready to launch a new 110cc scooter in India on 30th January 2023. Called the Hero Maestro Xoom, the model has been teased ahead of its market arrival. The official teaser shows its dual-tone front apron, LED headlamps with an X insignia and handlebars integrated turn indicators. The scooter has uniquely designed LED taillamps. Some of its other key features will include a digital instrument cluster with XTec connected features, USB phone charger, Bluetooth connectivity with notification turn-by-turn navigation, odometer, trip meters and stop/start function.
Engine setup of the new Hero Maestro Xoom will be the same 110.9cc motor that powers the Maestro Edge 110. The unit produces a peak power of 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. It has Hero’s i3S technology along with a dedicated switch button placed on the handlebar. There will be a CVT (continuously variable transmission) gearbox. For performing suspension duties, the scooter will have a telescopic fork upfront and the conventional shock absorber at the rear. Its braking system will include the front and rear drum brakes.
Reports suggest that the new Hero 110cc scooter will come in three variants – LX, VX and ZX. The range-topping ZX trim might get a disc brake at the front axle. Hero’s CBS (Combined Braking System) will be standard across the model lineup. As per the leaked documents, the Maestro Xoom will measure 1881mm in length, 731mm in width and 1117mm in height with a wheelbase of 1300mm. The scooter will be assembled with the 12-inch front and rear wheels.
In the company’s product lineup, the new Maestro Xoom will be positioned above the Maestro Edge. The latter one is currently offered in two variants – Drum and Disc – priced at Rs 66,820 and Rs 73,498 respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
