Automakers have released their sales report for the month of February 2023. Last month, most of the two wheeler manufacturers recorded positive sales growth. Here’s sales figures for February 2023 of Hero MotoCorp, Honda 2Wheelers India and TVS Motor Company –
Hero MotoCorp Sales February
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, sold 394,460 bikes and scooters in February 2023. The company has reported a year-on-year sales growth of 10 percent, as the company had sold 358,254 units in Feb 2022. Hero MotoCorp believes the positive trend to continue in the coming months.
Hero MotoCorp has launched a new campaign ‘Where Next?’ for its recently introduced XPulse 200T 4V. Moreover, Hero’s electric division, VIDA has initiated operations of its public charging infrastructure in Bengaluru, Delhi & Jaipur. The brand has set up nearly 300 charging points at 50 locations across the three cities for public use.
TVS Sales February
TVS Motor Company has registered sales of 276,150 units in the month of February 2023 as against 281,714 units in the month of February 2022. Total two-wheelers registered sales of 267,026 units in February 2023 as against 267,625 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales increased by 28% from 173,198 units in February 2022 to 221,403 units in February 2023.
Motorcycle registered sales of 126,243 units in February 2023 as against 143,523 units in February 2022. Scooter sales registered a growth of 21% with sales increasing from 86,616 units in Feb 2022 as against 104,825 units in Feb 2023.
The TVS iQube electric scooter has also recorded its highest ever sales of 15,522 units in February 2023 as against 2,238 units in the same month last year. The electric scooter is now available in more than 100 cities across 200 touchpoints, selling more than 10,000 units for the fourth consecutive month with a strong order pipeline.
Honda Sales February
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has reported a total of sales of 247,175 units in February 2023. The company sold 227,064 units in domestic market, while exports for the month of February 2023 stood at 20,111. The company reported a year-on-year sales decline of 21 percent. The company had dispatched 312,650 units in the same month last year.
