Electric two-wheeler mobility platform, eBikeGo, has launched its new electric moto-scooter Rugged in the country. The eBikeGo Rugged electric moto-scooter is available in two variants – G1 and G1+ – priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 99,999 respectively.
The eBikeGo Rugged offers a claimed range of 160km on a single charge, and has a top speed of 70kmph. The company claims that the price of the Rugged e-scooter will be significantly low with additional benefits from state government subsidies. It is packed with an advanced IoT (Internet Of Things) system with 4G, and two 1.9 kWh batteries, which are replaceable.
The two batteries can be charged in just 3.5 hours, and offers a range of 160km. The eBikeGo Rugged e-scooter has a 3kW (4bhp) electric motor, which allows the scooter to achieve a top speed of 70kmph. Bookings for the new e-scooter has already commenced, while deliveries will begin from November 2021.
The eBikeGo Rugged electric moto-scooter rides on 14-inch wheels. It is fitted with intelligent vehicle monitoring through a dedicated application, OTA (over-the-air) updates, navigation and vehicle location features. The Rugged e-scooter comes with anti-dive four-point adjustable front shocks and four-point adjustable rear shock absorbers.

Customer has the option to switch between batteries without getting off the bike, and comes with an advanced two-wheeler IoT system. It is based on a craddle chassis with steel on outside. It will be produced in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in collaboration with Boom Motors. The company has announced to introduce more than 3,000 charging stations. It comes with a 3 year warranty, which includes 20,000 km, battery and charger, and extended warranty.
