The sub-4 meter SUV segment is one of the fastest growing, as more buyers are leaving hatchbacks for the small SUVs. This segment currently comprises of Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Nissan Magnite. Maruti Vitara Brezza
Maruti Suzuki dealers are giving benefits up to Rs 35,000 on the Brezza. The benefits include cash benefit of up to INR 10,000, exchange bonus of around 20,000 and corporate discounts of up to 4,000.
The SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that produces 104bhp and 138Nm of torque. It is priced between Rs 7.39 lakh and Rs 11.40 lakh.
Toyota Urban Cruiser
It is basically the re-badged Maruti Brezza. The SUV also shares the features and mechanics. The company is giving a cash discount of Rs 15,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 on the Urban Cruiser. The SUV is priced between Rs 8.50 lakh and Rs 11.35 lakh.
Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon has been receiving an excellent response from buyers, as it is currently one of the best-selling SUVs in its segment. The company is constantly selling over 6,000 units. Tata dealers are only giving exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. It is available with two engine options – a 120bhp, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and a 110bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. The Tata Nexon is priced between Rs 7.09 lakh and Rs 12.79 lakh.
Mahindra XUV300
Mahindra has recently added an AMT gearbox with the petrol version of the XUV300 compact SUV. Priced between Rs 7.95 lakh and Rs 12.45 lakh, the new Mahindra XUV300 is available with maximum discounts of up to Rs 45,000. Customers can avail 10,000 cash discount, exchange bonus of up to 25,000 and corporate discount of up to Rs 5,000. Adding to it, Mahindra is also giving additional benefits of up to Rs 5,000.
Ford EcoSport
Ford dealers are giving total benefits of up to Rs 24,000 on the EcoSport. Customers can avail exchange and loyalty bonus of up to Rs 20,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. Adding to it, corporate discount of Rs 4,000 is also available with the EcoSport. Ford dealers are also giving a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000. The SUV is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 11.49 lakh.
Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Nissan Magnite – No discounts or benefits announced by their respective companies. However, dealers could give some benefits in form of accessories.
