Mahindra Two-Wheelers has rolled out the BS6-compliant model of the Mojo 300 tourer motorcycle in the country. Prices of the BS6 Mahindra Mojo start from Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can book the vehicle by paying a token sum of Rs 5,000. Compared to its arch rivals – Bajaj Dominar 400 and Royal Enfield Himalayan, the updated Mojo is slightly more expensive. While the Dominar 400 has been priced at Rs 1.94 lakh, the RE Himalayan costs Rs 1.89 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Powering the 2020 Mahindra Mojo is the BS6-compliant 295cc, single-cylinder engine paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The fuel injected, liquid-cooled motor produces a peak power of 26.29bhp at 7,500rpm and 28Nm at 5,500rpm. The tourer continues to come fitted with telescopic fork and monoshock suspension. While the front unit has 143.5mm of travel, the rear set gets 135mm of travel.
The 2020 Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 rides on the same 110/70-R17 front and 140/70-R17 rear Pirelli Angel CT tyres. The model derives its braking power from the 320mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brakes. Its seat height stands at 815mm. The overall length, width and height measure 2115mm, 800mm and 1150mm respectively. Similar to the previous model, the new one offers fuel tank capacity of 21-litres.
Visually, the 2020 Mahindra Mojo BS6 looks exactly similar to the BS4 version. It carries the same polarizing twin headlamps, radiator shroud, LED taillamps, body panels and a digital instrument cluster. The updated model has been made available in four colour schemes – Ruby Red, Red Agate, Black Pearl and Garnet Black.
