Bounce Infinity has introduced a special edition of the Infinity E1 electric scooter at Rs 96,799 (ex-showroom). The model will be retailed in limited numbers. Compared the top-end variant, the new Bounce Infinity E1 Limited Edition is nearly Rs 16,800 more expensive. The model has floorboard panels in sporty black colour and ‘Limited Edition’ badge and a dark grey/silver stripe on the side panel placed below the grab rail. Similar to the standard model, the special edition comes in five paint schemes – Comet Grey, Pearl White, Sparkle Black, Sporty Red and Desat Silver.
No other changes have been made to the Bounce Infinity E1 Limited Edition. The electric scooter uses the same 2kWh lithium-ion battery pack offering a claimed range of 85km on a single charge. It takes 4-5 hours to get fully charged. It can be had without the battery pack as well. The company says that its batteries can be swapped for fully charged units via dedicated battery swapping network.
The e-scooter has a 1.5kW hub motor and two drive modes – Power and Eco with a drag mode for low-speed movement in case of punctures. The Bounce electric scooter can attain a top speed of 65kmph and accelerate 0 to 40kmph in 8 second. Its suspension setup includes a hydraulic telescopic front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are done by front and rear disc brakes. It also gets electronic braking system (EBS) and regenerative braking technology.
The Bounce Infinity E1 Limited Edition offers features such as a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, a reverse mode and tow alert. The e-scooter come with a smart app that can be connected via Bluetooth and used for tracking the scooter remotely, geofencing, check charging status and more. Similar to the regular version, the special edition has round LED projector headlamps with smart detailing, sporty alloy wheels and flush fitting rear foot pegs.
