German automaker, BMW has launched the new 5 Series M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’ in the Indian market. Locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai, the new exclusive edition can be booked through shop.bmw.in. The new BMW 530i M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’ is available at a price tag of Rs 66.30 lakh.

The new BMW 5 Series M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’ comes with sporty design elements. The signature Kidney grille, front attachment and splitters in dark black carbon fibre gives it an imposing stance. The exterior mirror caprs are also made of carbon fibre. The dark theme is carried over to the side profile with 662M 18-inch Jet Black alloys. At the back, a carbon fibre rear spoiler completes the overall look.
The new BMW 530i M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’ is available exclusively in the Alpine White paintwork. Inside the cabin, the new model comes with perforated Sensatec trim in Cognac/ Black colour combination with contrasting stitching. It comes with multiple driver assistance systems such as Remote-Control Parking, Reversing Assistant, Parking Assistant, BMW Virtual Assistant, BMW Gesture Control and 360° Surround-view Camera.
BMW is also offering Service Inclusive and Service Inclusive Plus service packages as optional. These packages cover Condition Based Service (CBS) and maintenance work with a choice of plans from 3 yrs / 40,000 kms to 10 yrs / 2,00,000 kms, starting at an attractive pricing of INR 1.6 per km.
Powering the new BMW 5 Series M Sport ‘Carbon Edition’ is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine that produces 252bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.1 seconds.
