Bajaj Auto has launched the new Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre edition in the country. The new Carbon Edition is offered in two versions – Single-seat and Split – and in total of two-colour options – Blue and Red. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon edition single-seat version is priced at Rs 89,254, while the split-seat variant is tagged at Rs 91,642 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Both colour options use a black base paint. There are graphics on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, engine cowl, rear panel and alloy wheel stripes. The company has added carbon fibre graphics on the belly pan, front fender, tank, and rear cowl. It gets striking 3D logos, neon headlights, and black alloy wheels.
The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 comes equipped with a single pod headlamp unit with twin daytime running lights, a muscular fuel tank and a side-slung exhaust. Powering the motorcycle is a 124.4cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 11.64bhp of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.80Nm at 6,500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle comes fitted with telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear springs. For braking, the Pulsar 125 gets a 240mm disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels shod with 80/100 and 100/90 section front and rear tubeless tyres respectively. The Pulsar 125 has a ground clearance of 165mm and a kerb weight of 142kg.
