The Audi RS Q8’s V8 Motor Offers 600PS/800Nm, 0-100kmph in just 3.5 seconds, Top-speed 305kmph (Dynamic Package Plus)
German luxury carmaker, Audi has finally launched the all-new Audi RS Q8 in the Indian market. The new SUV is available at a price tag of Rs 2.07 crore. It is the fastest, most powerful and the sportiest Audi SUV in India.
Design highlights include octagonal single-frame design with a black, glossy RS honeycomb grille, large side air-intakes, body-coloured RS-specific strips, RS roof edge spoiler, RS oval-shaped tailpipes, RS Matrix LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps and digital 3D signature DRLs.
Powering the Audi RS Q8 is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 600PS of power and 800Nm of torque between 2,200 and 4,500rpm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 3.8 seconds. The company is offering an optional dynamic package plus, which increases the top-speed of the RS Q8 to 305kmph.
The SUV’s V8 engine combined with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system offers maximum performance with high efficiency. The Audi RS Q8 also features cylinder on demand (COD) technology that turns off cylinders when power needed is lesser to save fuel. Power is transmitted to the permanent all-wheel drive Quattro system via an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox.
The Audi RS Q8 comes equipped with all-wheel steering, RS roof spoiler, Audi’s virtual cockpit, Quattro with self-locking differential, sport adaptive air suspension and 2 RS modes for personalised drive settings. The SUV gets massive 23-inch 5 Y Spoke Diamond Turned alloys. Air Quality Package with 4 Zone climate control is also standard. Customers can also opt for optional features like Black styling package, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, Matrix LED headlamps, RS Sports exhaust, a B&O Sound system with 3D sound, etc.
