Audi India has introduced a new special edition of the Q5 SUV in the country. Based on the Technology trim, the model will be sold in limited numbers. It costs Rs 67.05 lakh ex-showroom, thus making it around Rs 84,000 more expensive than the regular Technology variant. The Audi Q5 special edition receives a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular model along with an accessory package. It can be had in two colours – Ibis White and District Green – with black styling package.
The blacked-out treatment on the Audi logo on the grille, wing mirrors, roof rails and tailgate enhance its sporty appearance. It has 5-spoke wheels with new graphite grey finish. The company is offering an accessory package at a special price that includes Audi Ring Foil Silver and running boards.
Since the new Audi Q5 special edition is based on the Technology trim, it offers goodies like an 8.3-inch Audi MMI infotainment system with navigation, auto folding and heated outside mirrors with memory function, Audi Virtual cockpit digital instrument cluster, smartphone mount with wireless charging, driver’s seat with memory function, Walnut brown interior inlays and adaptive suspension with damping control.
Similar to the regular model, the Audi Q5 special edition derives its power from the 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The gasoline unit pushes out a peak power of 249bhp and 370Nm of torque. The SUV comes with Audi’s Quattro AWD (all-wheel drive) system and Audi Drive Select with multiple modes – Comfort, Dynamic, Individual, Automatic and Off-road.
The feature list also includes three zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, interior ambient lighting package, infotainment system with speech recognition, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats, automatic day/night inside rear view with anti-glare, parking sensors with reversing camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control and more.
