We reported earlier that Ather Energy is preparing its fastest electric scooter, called the 450 Apex. Now, the company has started accepting pre-orders of its latest electric. Interested buyers can book the new Ather 450 Apex electric scooter on the brand’s official website. Deliveries for the new electric scooter will commence from March 2024.
Ather Energy has not revealed many details including the engine options about the 450 Apex, but multiple teasers confirm that this variant will be their fastest scooter yet. The Ather 450 Apex electric scooter will have four riding modes – Eco, Ride, Sport and Warp+. In the Warp+ mode, the e-scooter is likely to offer higher top speed and improved acceleration.
The new Ather 450X is likely to feature a more powerful electric motor and a bigger battery pack. The teaser reveals that the scooter has the transparent rear panel and an orange sub-frame. This variant is expected to offer a top speed of over 100kmph. The existing Ather 450X is claimed to have a top speed of 90kmph. It is claimed to offer 0-40kmph acceleration in 3.3 seconds.
The Ather 450X electric scooter comes fitted with a 6.4 kW electric motor that offers 26Nm of torque. It is fitted with a 3.7 kWh battery pack and is claimed to offer a range of up to 150km on a single charge. The new 450 Apex variant will directly rival the Ola S1 Pro, which can attain much higher speeds compared to the 450 Apex.
