Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the new-generation Pulsar on 28th October 2021. It’s likely to be the new flagship model in the company’s product lineup. Earlier, Rajiv Bajaj confirmed that the company will reveal the new platform with its biggest Pulsar ever made. While he didn’t reveal the name and details of the product, it’s reported to be the new 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 with comprehensive design and feature upgrades. Its test mules have been caught on camera during its test rounds in the country.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 250 is expected be offered in both semi-faired and naked versions. The former is likely to come as a replacement to the ageing Pulsar 220F that has been generating volume for the company. The new model will be positioned against the Yamaha FZ25 and Suzuki Gixxer 250 twins. If reports are to be believed, the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 could be offered with the new 220cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The unit is likely to be paired to a more advanced gearbox.

Boosted with the fuel injection technology, the engine will be more refined and efficient. The two-wheeler manufacturer might offer the Dominar 250’s 27bhp engine. The new Pulsar 250 could also be the brand’s first non NSLS Pulsar to feature monoshock rear suspension unit along with the conventional telescopic fork at the front. For braking power, the bike will get front and rear disc brakes similar to the Pulsar NS200. The dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) will come as a standard.

The spied test mules suggest that the upcoming 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 will carry LED headlamp inspired by the Dominar 250. Its alloy wheels, split seats, split pillion grab rails and rear cowl could be sourced from the Pulsar NS200. The bike might get a newly-designed upswept side mounted exhaust. The new Pulsar 250 could also be offered with multiple riding modes and a fully digital console with smarphone connectivity.
