3 Major Cars Coming In Next 2 Weeks – Maruti, Hyundai, Toyota

In the last two week of December 2022, we will witness two model launches and an electric car unveiling. While Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Kirloskar Motor will roll out the CNG versions of the Grand Vitara and Hyryder SUVs respectively, Hyundai Motor India will showcase its flagship Ioniq 5 electric crossover on 20th December 2022. Here’re some key details of the aforementioned three new models.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 India Launch

Official bookings for the new Ioniq 5 electric crossover will also begin on 20th December 2022. The model will come to India as a CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit) and is expected to cost around Rs 60 lakh. Based on the brand’s E-GMP platform, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 could be offered with a 72.6kWh and a 58kWh battery pack option. While the former will deliver a range of around 384km, the latter will promise 481km on a single charge. It can be had with either RWD or AWD system. The new Hyundai electric crossover will offer ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) along with features such as V2L (Vehicle 2 Load), a panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree camera, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, etc. More details here…

Maruti Grand Vitara CNG/Toyota Hyryder CNG

Maruti Grand Vitara CNG

The CNG versions of the newly-launched Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder SUVs are reported to go on sale in December 2022. The exact launch date, however, is yet to be announced. Toyota has already started taking pre-orders for the Hyryder CNG model at an initial sum of Rs 25,000. Both CNG SUVs will come with the 1.5L, naturally aspirated petrol engine paired to a factory-fitted CNG kit. The same setup is already offered on the XL6 that deliver a claimed mileage of 26.32km/kg. The Maruti Grand Vitara CNG and Toyota Hyryder CNG will be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. Both SUVs will be the first vehicles in their segment to come with the CNG fuel option.
