We reported earlier that Mahindra will launch the new XUV300 electric SUV, which will be positioned below the XUV400 EV. It will be an affordable model and will rival the segment-leader Tata Nexon EV, which has recently received a major makeover. Not just XUV300 EV, the Mahindra XUV400 EV will also receive a feature update sometime in early 2024.

A leaked internal document has revealed the new features to be added in the 2024 Mahindra XUV400 EV. The big upgrade is the addition of the dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument console. The electric SUV will be offered with two new trims – EC Pro and EL Pro. It is expected that the new trims could join the existing EC and EL trims.

The top-spec Mahindra XUV400 EL Pro trim will come equipped with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Mahindra’s AdrenoX software. Instead of a semi-digital instrument console, the new EL trim will be equipped with a new 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display. To accommodate two bigger screens, Mahindra will have to make major design changes to the dashboard layout.

2024 Mahindra XUV400 EV Key features

The new XUV400 EL trim will come equipped with several high-end features including dual-zone climate control with a memory function, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Alexa connectivity, USB ports for the rear occupants and rear AC vents. Instead of all-black scheme, the new Mahindra XUV400 will come with a new dual-tone interior scheme. It also comes with a new flat-bottomed steering wheel.
