2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift – 70+ Safety Features, Level 2 ADAS Confirmed

In the imminent future, Hyundai Motor India’s flagship Creta SUV is set for a substantial upgrade. The automotive manufacturer has officially affirmed that the pricing details will be disclosed on January 16, 2024, with deliveries anticipated to commence a few weeks thereafter. Preceding its formal introduction, the company has unveiled pivotal design facets, features, and engine alternatives categorized by variants.

Revelatory spy images have showcased the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) in the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift, a detail now officially confirmed by the company. The overhauled model is reputed to incorporate a comprehensive suite of more than 70 safety features, with 36 being uniformly available across all variants.

Standard safety fitments include six airbags, electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, and more. Enthusiasts can also indulge in an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a first-in-HMI on-board music streaming option with the JioSaavan app, BlueLink connectivity, and a multi-language UI display.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will be presented with three engine alternatives: a 1.5L turbo petrol (new addition), a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, and a 1.5L turbo diesel. The turbo petrol engine, sourced from the Verna, is anticipated to generate a maximum power output of 160bhp. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, iVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and a 6-speed automatic.

Showcasing Hyundai’s Global Design Language of ‘Sensuous Sportiness,’ the rejuvenated Hyundai Creta facelift purportedly boasts a “bolder stance,” coupled with “premium interiors and a spacious cabin.” Notable design modifications comprise a freshly designed front grille, new quad-beam LED headlamps, a horizon LED positioning lamp, DRLs, new alloy wheels, and a subtly revised rear profile.
