The new 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 has finally been launched in the Indian market at Rs 1,50,829 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This means the updated model is just Rs 851 more expensive than the outgoing model. It will continue to compete against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Honda Hornet, and Suzuki Gixxer 250, priced between Rs 1.42 lakh and Rs 1.98 lakh.
In terms of updates, the new Bajaj Pulsar N250 is offered in three new color schemes – Black, Red, and White. One of the major highlights is the new 37mm inverted fork suspension, aimed at improving handling.
The bike also receives a new digital instrument cluster similar to the Pulsar NS200, featuring an LCD unit displaying important information such as tachometer readings, mileage, speed, fuel level, distance to empty, odometer, and trip meter readings. The updated version of the bike also includes revised hand side switchgear and new buttons. Similar to the previous model, it retains the tank-mounted USB charging port. Feature-wise, it offers three ABS modes (Road, Rail, and On/Off Road mode), traction control system, and fatter tyres measuring 110-section front and 140-section rear.
The new Bajaj Pulsar N250 has a seat height of 800mm, which is 5mm higher than before, and its kerb weight has been increased by 2kg. However, its wheelbase has been trimmed down by 9mm, now measuring 1342mm. The bike comes with a ground clearance of 165mm and a fuel tank capacity of 14-liters.
There have been no changes made to its engine bay. The new 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 continues to use the same 249.07cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine producing 24.5PS and 21.5Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch.
