Yamaha has launched the 2023 Aerox 155 scooter with traction control system (TCS). The maxi scooter is the first in its segment to offer TCS. Adding to it, the company has also launched the 2023 versions of its premium two-wheelers including the MT-15 V2, R15 V4 & R15S with new features and colour schemes.
The traction control system improves performance by minimising wheelspin and better control in any riding condition. Adding to it, the 2023 Yamaha Aerox 155 is E20 fuel compliant and also has on-board diagnostics (OBD-II) system.
It is powered by a 155cc Blue Core engine with variable valve actuation. Paired to a CVT gearbox, the liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve motor produces a maximum power output of 15PS at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 13.9Nm at 6,500rpm. The 2023 Yamaha Aerox 155 also gets hazard system as a standard feature and a brand-new silver colour.
The 2023 Yamaha MT-15 V2 now comes with a new variant with two new colours – Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black Color. With the launch of this variant, customers will have a choice to opt from Bluetooth (Y-Connect) equipped variant and non-equipped (Y-Connect) variant. This variant gets dual channel ABS, TCS, OBD2 & E20 fuel compliant engine.
The 2023 Yamaha R15 V4 now comes with Quick Shifter in the new Intensity White color along with the existing Racing Blue Color. The R15S gets the same 155cc engine as the R15 V4 and racing inspired LCD display. The MT-15, R15 V4 & R15S are powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 155cc, OBD2 compliant fuel-injected engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an Assist and Slipper clutch. This engine produces 18.4PS of peak power at 10,000rpm, with peak torque output of 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm.
