Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the updated Gixxer range that includes Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250. While the new 2023 Suzuki Gixxer is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh, the updated Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 cost Rs 1.45 lakh, Rs 1.95 lakh and Rs 2.02 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
For the very first time, the Gixxer range receives Suzuki Ride Connect Bluetooth connectivity system along with a fully digital instrument console. The app enables riders to pair their smartphone and get access to incoming calls, turn-by-turn navigation details and SMS and WhatsApp alerts. It also displays information such as phone battery level, speed exceeding warnings and ETA (estimated time of arrival).

The updated 2023 Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF are available in three colour options, namely, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver/Pearl Blaze Orange and Metallic Triton Blue colour options. While the new Gixxer 250 gets Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue shades, the Gixxer 250 SF comes in Metallic Triton Blue and Metallic Sonic Silver paint schemes.
For power, the updated 2023 Suzuki Gixxer uses the same 155cc engine that’s good enough for 13.41bhp and 13.8Nm. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed gearbox. The new Gixxer 250 range source power from the same 249cc motor coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The motor pushes out a peak power of 26.13bhp and 22.2Nm of torque.
In other fresh updates, the Japanese automaker will enter into the electric two-wheeler segment by FY2025. It will be an electric scooter designed especially for the Indian market. While the company hasn’t yet revealed name and details of the e-scooter, it’s likely to be the electric Burgman. The model has been caught on camera multiple times during its test rounds. It’s expected have sporty design with performance-oriented powertrain setup.
