2023 Kia Telluride three-row SUV has been unveiled via official images. The SUV which has been designed specifically for the U.S. market, received its first mid-life after 3 years of its launch. The model comes with improved design and more features, while its engine setup remains unchanged. With the mid-life update, the automaker has expanded the SUV model lineup with two new ‘adventure-ready’ trims – X-Line and X-Pro. It also gets three new colour schemes – Jungle Wood Green, Midnight Lake Blue and Dawning Red.
On the exterior, the new Kia Telluride gets revised vertical headlamps and taillamps, newly-designed front grille and bumpers, new alloy wheels, updated lower door garnish trim/side sills, and new rear fascia and trim. Interior of the 8-seater SUV has been updated with a dual 12.3-inch display screens, redesigned dashboard with new trim panels and HVAC vents, revised steering wheel and new interior colour packages. It gets an optional full display mirror with HomeLink functionality.
Features such as upgraded 10-inch head-up display, in-vehicle hotspot, connected car tech, 2 USB charging ports in each row and ‘smart power’ tail liftgate with an auto close function are also on offer. Kia Connect offers a Digital Key that enables to use iPhone, Apple watch, or Samsung Galaxy smartphone to lock, unlock and drive the car. Interestingly, these digital keys can be shared with family and friends over text messages on available devices.
The new 2023 Kia Telluride comes with the standard ADAS that offers forward collision warning and collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, high beam assist, lane departure warning and keeping assist, blind spot collision avoidance assist rear, blind spot view monitor, driver attention warning, smart cruise control with stop & go, parking distance warning, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, surround view monitor, highway driving assist, lane following assist and safe exist assist.
