Hyundai had launched the updated Venue sub-4 meter SUV in the country in June 2022. The company has now introduced the 2023 Hyundai Venue in the country. It comes with an upgraded feature list along with a more powerful diesel engine, and a price hike. The updated Venue is now available in the price bracket of Rs 7.68 lakh to Rs 13.11 lakh (ex-showroom).
2023 Hyundai Venue Variant-Wise Prices
The petrol range of Venue is now available in the price bracket of Rs 7.68 lakh to Rs 12.86 lakh. On the other hand, the diesel version of the SUV is priced between Rs 11.62 lakh and Rs 12.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is now costlier by up to Rs 25,000.
Prices for the 1.2L petrol variants have increased by up to Rs 14,300, and the 1.0L turbo petrol variants receive a uniform price hike of Rs 25,000. Diesel prices remain the same.
More Powerful Diesel Engine
The 2023 Hyundai Venue compact SUV is powered by the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which has been upgraded to offer the power and torque output similar to the Creta. Instead of the automatic gearbox option, the Venue diesel is now available with a six-speed manual gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 116PS and 250Nm of torque, which is 16PS and 10Nm more than the previous model.
The other engine options include a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol. While the former is good for 83PS and 114Nm of torque, the turbo petrol engine churns out 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque. The 1.2L petrol engine comes with a five-speed manual gearbox, while the 1.0L turbo petrol engine is offered with 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT.
2023 Hyundai Venue Feature Upgrades
Hyundai has now added side airbags from the mid-spec S (O) trim, which was previously only offered on the top-spec SX (O) trim. Side airbags are also offered on the N6 variant of the Venue N Line. The rear seat recliner and armrest with cup holder is now only offered on the top-spec diesel SX (O).
