2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V Launched – 2 Variants, Price, New Features

Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new OBD-II and E20 compliant adventure motorcycle – the XPulse 200 4V in the country. It is available in two variants – Base and Pro – priced at Rs 1.43 lakh and Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.

The 2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V comes with an E20 compliant engine that can run on ethanol-blended gasoline mixture of up to 20%. The bike comes with On-Board Diagnostic (OBD), a self-diagnostics system, that helps in detecting any errors or malfunctions in the vehicle, and shows it to the rider via a malfunction indicator light (MIL).

The motorcycle is powered by a 200cc 4-valve oil cooled BSVI compliant engine that produces 19.1PS and 17.35Nm of torque. The OBD-II device monitors the performance of the catalytic converter and improves efficiency by sending notification about any malfunction. 

The 2023 Hero XPulse 200 4V also comes with 3 ABS modes – Road, Off-road and Rally. In the Road mode, the single-channel ABS is set to offer optimum performance on dry roads. In the off-road mode, the reduced ABS intervention delivers maximum deceleration in off-road conditions like loose sand, gravel and rocky terrains. In Rally mode, the motorcycle shows off the off-road riding from its best side. 

The new XPulse 200 4V comes with a new 60mm taller Rally style windshield that protects the rider from windblast on face & chest. The motorcycle gets all-new Class-D LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, with an increased light intensity by 230%. The new motorcycle comes with an updated rider foot peg position which is lowered by 35mm and 8mm rear set. It has bigger and closed loop type handguards that offer improved protection of hands against external elements. 

The new Hero XPulse 200 4V comes with an updated luggage plate to secure bungee hooks and mount the luggage. It has an updated USB charging port with increased capacity, which is now placed on the dashboard. The Pro variant comes with fully adjustable front suspension of 250mm and rear suspension of 220mm. This variant has a taller seat height of 850mm, and a 270mm ground clearance along with a handlebar riser. The Extended gear lever and longer side stand ensure an improved off-road experience.
