2023 BMW X7 SUV Leaked – What To Expect?

The 2023 BMW X7 SUV has been leaked on the web ahead of its official debut. The first image reveals the front design details and side profile of the vehicle. The SUV’s updated model features the brand’s split headlamps with LED DRLs and slightly tweaked front bumper with triangular-shaped intake vents. The side profile is likely to receive minimal changes including newly-designed alloy wheels and lots of chrome embellishments.

Interior details of the new BMW X7 facelift are still under the wraps. Though, we expect its cabin layout will be similar to the current model. A few new goodies could be on offer. The updated version will continue to come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and gesture control, a digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, five-zone climate control, 7 airbags, hill descent control, rear seat touchscreens, a 360 degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control, and more.

No changes are likely to be made under the hood. The new 2023 BMW X7 SUV is currently available in xDrive 30d DPE Signature, xDrive40i and M50d variants, powered by a 3.0L straight-six turbo petrol and 3.0L straight six turbo diesel engines. While the gasoline unit makes power worth 340bhp and 450Nm of torque, the latter is good for 265bhp and 620Nm. Both motors are paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV comes with BMW’s xDrive four-wheel drive system with surface-specific modes.

Prices of the BMW X7 start from Rs 1.15 crore for the entry-level xDrive30d DPE Signature variant and go up to Rs 1.73 crore for the M50d variant. The mid-spec xDrive 40i comes with a price tag of Rs 1.15 crore. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. With minimal cosmetic and feature upgrades, the new 2023 BMW X7 facelift will continue to take on Volvo XC90, Audi Q7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
