2022 TVS iQube S Vs iQube ST – What’s Same, What’s Different?

The new 2022 TVS iQube electric scooter was recently launched in the market. The model lineup is spread across three variants, namely, iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. While the base and S variants are offered at Rs 98,564 and Rs 1.11 lakh respectively, prices of the range-topping ST variant are still under the wraps. Though, buyers can make bookings for all three variants. One must note that the aforementioned prices are on-road Delhi.

Here’re key similarities and differences between the iQube S and iQube ST.

The mid-spec S variant comes with a 7-inch TFT display. The new iQube S is being offered in four colour schemes – Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue Glossy, Copper Bronze and Coral Sand Glossy.

The new TVS iQube Base and S variants has been equipped with a 3.4kWh battery pack and delivers a claimed range of 100km on-road when fully charged.

It’s capable to attain a top speed of 78kmph in Power model. The Base and S models can be charged only via 650W charger in 4 hours 30 minutes.

The model has an underseat storage space of 17-litres with a built-in USB charger port. It weighs 118.8kgs.

The range-topping ST variant has a 7-inch touchscreen display with a new user interface. The model can be had in four different colour options, namely, Copper Bronze Matte, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Starlight Blue Glossy.

The model comes with a larger 5.1kWh battery and promises a range up to 140km on a full charge.

The new iQube ST variant offers a maximum speed of 82kmph. The company says it has optimized the Economy mode and calibrated the throttle response instead changing the motor.

The top-end variant has an extra underseat storage space (32-litres) and a built-in USB charger port.

The fast charging capability of 1.5kWh battery is exclusively available with the ST variant along with the 950W charging option. While the former takes around 2 hours 30 minutes, the latter can juice up the battery in 4 hours 6 minutes. It weighs 128kgs.

Both variants (S and ST) are offered with TVS’s SmartXonnect platform and Amazon Alexa connectivity. The latter one enables users to ask about the vehicle’s charging level via their Alexa devices at home.

Features such as turn-by-turn navigation, battery level and low battery indicator, side stand indicator, incoming call alert, DTE (distance to empty), park assist/reverse assist indicator, music control, telematics and incognito mode are common between S and ST.

Save for the colour options, design and styling of the new TVS iQube S and ST variants is exactly similar.

There is no change in their suspension setup and braking system. In fact, both models run on 90/90-12 front and 90/90-12 rear tyres.

The electric powertrain delivers a peak power of 4.4kW and 140Nm of torque.
