Land Rover has launched the 2022 Range Rover in the Indian market. The new Range Rover is available at a price tag of Rs 2.32 crore (ex-showroom). The company has also announced that the bookings for the premium SUV is now open for Indian consumers from today.
The 2022 Range Rover is developed on the new MLA-Flex platform. The new model retains most of its styling; however, it gets a few cosmetic updates. The new model comes with sharper LED headlamps and new LED tail-lights. It retains the split tailgate and a floating roof.
The Land Rover Range Rover is offered in 5 and 7-seat layout. A long-wheelbase version of the new model is also on offer. Inside the cabin, the 2022 Range Rover comes fitted with a newly designed 13.1-inch curved touchscreen infotainment system that supports latest Pivi Pro System. This system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The 2022 Land Rover is fitted with an all-new digital instrument console. For rear occupants, the SUV gets a pair of 11.4-inch touchscreen tablets. It is also fitted with a 1600-watt Meridian Signature Sound System. It gets cabin air purification pro to keep the cabin free of polluted particles.
The 2022 Range Rover is offered in 3 engine options – a 3.0-litre petrol mild-hybrid, a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel and a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8. The 3.0L petrol mild hybrid system churns out 394bhp of power and 550Nm of torque. The turbo-diesel engine produces 346bhp and 700Nm of torque, while the twin-turbo V8 engine churns out 523bhp and 750Nm of torque.
The SUV comes equipped with all-wheel-drive layout with Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 system, electronic air suspension and dynamic response pro. This system uses eHorizon Navigation data to read the road ahead of prime the suspension and a new Tailgate Event Suite.
