The new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza has finally been went on sale in the country. While its entry-level LXi manual variant costs Rs 7.99 lakh, the range-topping ZXi+ automatic dual-tone model costs Rs 13.96 lakh (all, ex-showroom). The SUV’s new model lineup is also available under the brand’s subscription scheme with a monthly charge of Rs 18,300 (including vehicle registration, insurance, maintenance and road side assistance).
At the launch event, the carmaker has confirmed that the new Brezza gathered over 45,000 bookings even before launch (which is around 4 bookings per minute). The overall length (3995mm), width (1790mm) and wheelbase (2500mm) remain unchanged. Though, its height has been increased by 45mm. Compared to the previous version, the new one carries more angular stance with noticeable cosmetic changes. Maruti Suzuki is offering two accessory packages with the new 2022 Maruti Brezza – Terrascape and Metroscape.
Terrascape – This package theme has been designed on the rugged side for exterior and interior styling options including front and rear bumper garnish, side cladding, rear mid garnish, rear upper spoiler extender and more.
Metroscape – This package offers sporty design accessories to attract urban buyers. It has front and rear bumper garnish, fog lamp garnish, body side moulding, window frame kit and wheel arch garnish.
Under the hood, the new Brezza employs the next-gen K-series 1.5L Dualjet, Dual VVT engine with smart hybrid system. The motor delivers a claimed mileage of 20.15kmpl and 19.89kmpl with manual gearbox on LXi and VXi and ZXi and ZXi+ variants. Its automatic version promises 19.80kmpl. The SUV model lineup is available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with steering-mounted paddle shifters and a 5-speed manual transmission.
The new 2022 Maruti Brezza can be had in 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour options (Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof, Brave Khaki with Arctic White roof and Splendid Silver with midnight Black roof).
