2021 Yamaha R15 V3 Gets 3 New Colors In Indonesia: Launched

Japanese two-wheeler maker, Yamaha has launched the 2021 R15 V3 in Indonesia. The company hasn’t made any significant changes to design and features-list. However, the 2021 Yamaha R15 V3 comes with new colours schemes as part of the model year update.

The 2021 Yamaha R15 V3 is available in 3 new colors – Metallic Blue, Matte Silver and Matte Black. The Metallic Blue colour option combines black, Grey and blue scheme. It has blue wheels, fairing, fuel tank and side cowls, while the side panels and rear view mirrors and exhaust are finished in black. Grey treatment can be seen on the fairing and on mudguard. This color combination is similar to the one offered with the bigger R6 and R1 supersport machines.

2021 Yamaha R15 V3 Matte Blue

The Matte black color comes with glossy black and grey combination. The white graphics can be seen on the fairing, while rest of the R15 V3 is finished in glossy black. It looks similar to the Dark Knight colour option available with the India-spec R15. The Matte Silver paint comes with contrasting neon yellow wheels and yellow and grey accents on the fairing.

The 2021 Yamaha R15 V3 is powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with VVA (Variable-Valve Actuation) technology. It is capable of producing 19.3bhp of power and 14.7Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. It also gets Assist and Slipper Clutch. The bike comes equipped with a golden-finished upside-down forks (USD) and monoshock unit at the rear. The India-spec model gets conventional telescopic front forks.

Yamaha R15 V3 Matte Silver

The motorcycle comes fitted with LED head-light and LED tail-light, full digital speedometer with shift timing light, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in 100/80 and 140/70 section tires at front and rear respectively. It is based on the deltabox frame, and features aluminum swing arm.
