2021 TVS Star City Plus Prices To Be Announced Soon

TVS Motor Company will introduce the new Star City Plus commuter motorcycle with a few cosmetic upgrades in coming weeks. Ahead of its official launch, the bikemaker has dropped the first teaser image revealing its LED headlamp, turn signals, dual-tone muffler and mirrors. The updated model is likely to get a new Black paint scheme along with the regular Black/Red, Grey/Black, Black/Blue, White/Black and Red/Black shades. While there is no official information, the new 2021 TVS Star City Plus might receive new body graphics and front disc brake. Though, the engine will remain intact. The new model will continue to be offered with the existing 110cc, single-cylinder Eco Thrust motor boosted with TVS’s ETFi technology. The electronic fuel injected system enhances overall performance and fuel efficiency of the motor. The engine pushes out a peak power of 8.08bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. Paired to a 4-speed gearbox, the commuter can attain a top speed of 90kmph.

Suspension setup will also remain unchanged. The new 2021 TVS Star City Plus will come equipped with the onventional telescopic front forks and 5-step adjustable hydraulic twin rear shock absorbers. It will have dura grip tyres, which are claimed to have “longer life” and provide “superior road grip”. The commuter will continue to offer a multi function console with Econometer, service reminder and a malfunction indicator. Some of its key features will include the standard USB mobile charging port, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a bikini fairing and more.

In other updates, the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer has increased price of the TVS Apache RR 310 by Rs 2,000. Now, the model is available at Rs 2,49,990 (ex-showroom). The company also introduced the TVS iQube electric scooter in Delhi at an on-road price of Rs 1.08 lakh (post FAME and state subsidy). The electric scooter can be booked by paying an initial sum of Rs 5,000 via online or at select dealerships.
