TVS Motor Company has launched the 2021 TVS Star City Plus with ‘Roto Petrol Disc Brakes’. The Disc brake variant is available in Black-Red Dual tone colour scheme. It is priced at Rs 68,465 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 2021 TVS Star City Plus comes equipped with ET-Fi technology, which delivers 15 percent higher mileage. This variant is equipped with LED headlamp and USB mobile charger, which makes it premium offering in its category. TVS Motor Company said that the this variant is based on “TVS StaR city+ ‘s 15-year-legacy of ‘Always Moving Ahead’ and creating delight for its 3 Million+ happy customers.”
The 2021 TVS Star City Plus comes equipped with 110cc, single-cylinder Eco Thrust engine with TVS ETFi technology. This electronic fuel injected system is claimed to have improve the overall performance and efficiency. It is capable of producing a maximum power output of 8.08bhp and a peak torque of 8.7Nm. Paired to a 4-speed gearbox, the commuter is claimed to achieve a top speed of 90kmph.
Suspension mechanism comprises of telescopic forks at the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic twin rear shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle features dura grip tyres. Features of the motorcycle includes USB mobile charging port, a semi-digital instrument cluster and a bikini fairing.
