2021 Tata Altroz iTurbo – New Variant, 28% More Power, Extra Features

Tata Motors is all set to kick start the new year with the launch of the 2021 Tata Altroz iTurbo that’s slated to arrive on 13th January. Ahead of its official launch, details of the model have emerged on the web via leaked brochure scans. The new Altroz iTurbo has been powered packed with a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine that’s claimed to be 28% more powerful and 24% torqueier than the naturally aspirated petrol motor.

The new turbo petrol unit has been tuned for producing a top power of 110PS at 5,500rpm and 140Nm of torque between 1,500 – 5,500rpm. It’s capable to do 0 to 100kmph in 13 seconds. The iTurbo will initially be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The company plans to introduce its new dual-clutch transmission (DCT) at a later stage. While the new Altroz iTurbo petrol model gets Sport and City drive modes, the NA petrol and diesel variants come with Eco and City modes.

2021 Tata Altroz iTurbo New Features

The leaked brochure scans reveal that the 2021 Tata Altroz iTurbo will be offered in a new XZ+ variant and a new Harbour Blue colour scheme. The hatchback is currently available in four paint schemes, namely, Midtown Grey, Avenue White, Downtown Red and High Street Gold. The new Tata Altroz turbo petrol variant comes with some extra features including AC unit with Xpress Cool feature, Harman sourced Surround sound system with two additional tweeters, 17-inch infotainment system with new Doodle personalized wallpaper settings and straight up power windows. The list also includes IRA (Intelligent Real-time Assist), tilt steering, wearable key, dual path suspension, ISS (Idle Stop Start), cruise control, push button start with smart key, height adjustable driver seat and a rear power outlet.
