2021 Royal Enfield Classic 650 Spotted – Alloys, Twin Exhaust

Royal Enfield has planned a range of new motorcycles for this year. The lineup will include all-new products, new-generation models and updated version of the existing models. Recently, a new set of the upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycles was emerged on the web. The models in the picture identified as the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 650 and Classic 350. Both bikes carry retro design elements such as a circular headlamp and teardrop shaped fuel tank.

You can also notice black alloy wheels, split seats with removable pillion unit, twin exhaust pipes and an eccentrically mounted circular instrument dial. The bike has inverted telescopic fork upfront suspension unit and disc brakes at the front and rear axles. The engine of the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 650 is covered in black.

On the engine front, the new model is likely to feature a 649cc twin motor with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine pushes out a claimed power of 47PS and 52Nm of torque. It’s the same powertrain that does duty in the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

The new-generation RE Classic 650 could be the spiritual successor to the Classic 500, which was discontinued last year. Its launch is expected to happen during 2021 festive season. The new Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser is estimated to cost below Rs 4 lakh (on-road).

The Chennai-based bikemaker is also working on the new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 that has been spotted testing multiple times. The model will witness significant design changes and mechanical upgrades. Before arrival of the next-generation model, the company increased prices of the Classic 350 by up to Rs 2,045. Now, the bike comes in the price range of Rs 1.63 lakh for the single-channel ABS variant and Rs 1.88 lakh for the dual-channel ABS model.
