Mercedes-Benz has launched the new E-Class long-wheelbase facelift at a starting price of Rs 63.6 lakh. The new model is available in 3 trim levels – Expression, Exclusive and AMG Line – and in total of 5 variants and 3 engine options.

Design Changes
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB facelift will come with new headlamps and front bumper, a wider 3-slat chrome grille and chrome insert for the fog lamp inserts. At the back, the sedan gets new bumper and re-styled tail-lamps. The sedan rides on new alloy wheels. The E 350d AMG Line variant comes equipped with a new diamond-studded front grille, AMG design bumpers, sportier 18-inch alloy wheels and a new beige-tropez blue interior upholstery. It is offered in 6 colors – Polar White, High-Tech Silver, Obsidian Black, Mojave Silver, and Limited Selenite Grey and Designo Hyachinth Red.
Interior Changes
Inside the cabin, the E-Class facelift gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch instrument console. The sedan also gets a new steering wheel with capacitive touch controls. The top-spec model gets a new touchscreen in the rear-centre armrest and two USB ports at the back.
Key Features – The 350d AMG Line gets Mercedes latest MBUX software for the infotainment system, Meconnect with Alexa and Google home, voice commands, 3-zone climate control, a 590W Burmester sound system, two wireless phone chargers, etc. The sedan also gets a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, air suspension and LED lighting system. For safety and security, the sedan gets 7 airbags, ABS with EBD & brake assist, traction control, ESP, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree parking camera.
Engine Specifications
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB facelift engine options include a 197bhp, 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol, a 194bhp, 2.0L 4-cylinder diesel, and a 286bhp, 3.0L 6-cylinder diesel. For transmission duties, the LWB variant gets a 9-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
