2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 – Biggest and Loudest Pulsar Ever

The all-new Bajaj Pulsar 250 is all set to hit showrooms on October 28, 2021. Here, it will be positioned against the Yamaha FZ25 and Suzuki Gixxer 250 and SF250. The bike will be offered in two forms – naked and semi-faired. The two-wheeler maker has already confirmed that it will be the biggest Pulsar ever made. A latest spy video reveals that the new Pulsar 250 will be loudest model in the Pulsar range. Read – Bajaj-Triumph Bikes – Prototypes Ready, Launch In FY23

Both naked and semi-faired versions will derive power from a new 249cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The transmission has a slipper and assist clutch. The engine will be boosted with VVA (variable valve actuation) technology that ensures better low-end grunt without compromising performance. The motor is likely to deliver power close to 24bhp and 20Nm of torque.

For performing transmission duties, the new Pulsar 250 has the conventional telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock with swingarm unit at the rear. It gets dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard along with the single disc front and rear brakes. Feature details of the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 are yet to be revealed. Though, the bike is likely to come with a semi-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.  In terms of design, the new Pulsar 250F is similar to the Pulsar 220F.

Some of its design elements are borrowed from the NS160 and NS200. Its naked and semi-faired versions carry a single-pod LED headlamp with integrated LED DRLs at the front. The new Bajaj Pulsar 250F has a large front apron with a headlamp cowl and a windscreen. Its other key design highlights include extended tank shrouds, a clip-on handlebar, a split seat, an engine underbelly cowl, split pillion grab rails, spilt LED taillights and a side-mounted twin barrel exhaust canister.

Official details on the all-new Pulsar 250 will be revealed next week. Keep watching this space for latest updates.
