20,000 Honda Elevate SUV Sold In 100 Days

Honda Cars India has made an impressive mark in the fiercely competitive mid-size SUV segment with its Elevate model, having sold over 20,000 units within a span of just 100 days since its debut. This achievement is particularly noteworthy as the Elevate has contributed to more than 50 percent of the company’s total sales.

Since its launch three months ago, the Honda Elevate has consistently demonstrated strong sales performance. In September, October, and November, the Japanese automaker successfully sold 5,685, 4,957, and 4,755 units of the Honda Elevate, respectively. The model lineup is available in four trims – SV, V, VX, and ZX – with prices ranging from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16 lakh.

The manual variants start at Rs 11 lakh, reaching up to Rs 14.90 lakh, while the three automatic variants – SV, V, and VX – are priced at Rs 13.21 lakh, Rs 14.60 lakh, and Rs 16 lakh, respectively (all prices are ex-showroom). Notably, the top-end variant of the Elevate is the most affordable among mid-size SUVs, surpassing competitors such as the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun in terms of pricing. Surprisingly, the entry-level and top variants of the Honda City are nearly Rs 57,000 and Rs 5,000 more expensive than their equivalent Elevate counterparts. Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox. The SUV boasts a front-wheel-drive (FWD) drivetrain setup and is built on Honda’s Global Small Car platform, measuring 4312mm in length, 1790mm in width, and 1650mm in height. Its wheelbase and ground clearance, standing at 2650mm and 220mm (best-in-segment), respectively, contribute to its formidable presence. The Elevate offers a generous luggage space of 458 litres.

Highlighting some of its key features, the Honda Elevate includes a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a single-pane sunroof, wireless charging, lane watch camera, rear parking camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) technology.
