Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to host the Hero World 2024 in Jaipur on January 23, 2024. The event promises to unveil the new Hero motorcycle lineup, spanning various segments, including the highly anticipated Hero Mavrick and Hero Xtreme 125. While teaser images of the former have already surfaced, the latter recently leaked on the web ahead of its official debut. Let’s delve into the key details of these upcoming Hero motorcycles.

Hero Mavrick 440

Hero MAVRICK 440 Teaser

The forthcoming Mavrick will be based on the 440cc platform co-developed with Harley-Davidson, which made its debut with the Harley-Davidson X440 last year. This naked streetfighter carries sporty design elements, including a sculpted fuel tank with sharp edges and extensions, adorned with the distinctive ‘MAVRICK’ badge. The bike features an H-shaped DRL, a retro-styled round headlight, a newly-designed headlight cowl, and a low-set handlebar compared to the Harley-Davidson X440. Although its styling will differ from its donor counterpart, both models share the same engine. The new Hero Mavrick will be equipped with the 440cc, single-cylinder, oil/air-cooled engine, delivering 27bhp and 38Nm. The bike also boasts an all-new exhaust note with a faster beat and less thump.

Leaked images of the upcoming Hero Xtreme 125 reveal sharp LED headlights, elongated indicators flanking the headlight, a muscular fuel tank, and a digital instrument cluster likely to support Bluetooth connectivity. The bike’s suspension setup includes a telescopic front and a rear monoshock unit. Braking duties will be handled by the front disc and rear drum brakes, further assisted by ABS. Powering the new Hero Xtreme 125 is expected to be a 125cc, air-cooled engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox, producing a peak power of 11.5bhp and 10.5Nm of torque. The bike will ride on the 90/90-17 front and 120/80-17 rear tyres.

More details on the upcoming Hero motorcycles will be revealed in a couple of days. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
