Skoda is all set to relaunch the Kodiaq 7-seater SUV in the Indian market on January 10, 2022. The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq 3-row SUV is already on sale in select international markets. To be offered in petrol version only, the updated Kodiaq will be made available in 3 variants.
The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq facelift will come in 3 trim levels – Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K). These variants, except for the Sportline trim, were also offered on the pre-facelift model, which was discontinued on the arrival of BSVI emission norms.
Similar to the Superb Sportline, the 2022 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline will have a sportier design elements. It will come with darkened design theme on outside and inside. The darkened theme will be added to the front profile and on the alloy wheels. There will be darker upholstery inside the cabin as well.

The new Kodiaq 7-seater SUV could come with a larger 9.2-inch infotainment screen, but as an optional feature. The new model will be offered in a single 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine option that also powers the Octavia and the Superb. This engine churns out a maximum power output of 190PS and a peak torque of 320Nm. It is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. All the 3-variants of the SUV will come with an AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) system as standard.
The Skoda Kodiaq facelift 3-row SUV won’t have a direct rival in the market. However, it will have a rival in the form of the Jeep Meridian 7-seater SUV. The SUV will also challenge the petrol derivative of the Toyota Fortuner.
