Mahindra Bolero SUV received a mid-life update in March, 2020. The model comes with slightly improved styling, updated interior and BS6-compliant engine. The safety quotient of the vehicle has also been classed up. The 2020 Mahindra Bolero BS6 was made available in three variants – B4, B6 and B6 (O) – priced at Rs 7.98 lakh, Rs 8.64 lakh and Rs 8.99 lakh respectively. Now, the carmaker has increased the SUV prices by up to Rs 35,000.

After the price hike, the SUV’s entry-level variant comes with a price tag of Rs 8.00 lakh. While the mid-level B6 trim has been priced at Rs 8.66 lakh, the top-end B6 (O) costs Rs 9.01 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
As mentioned above, the 2020 Mahindra Bolero BS6 received minor design changes including a new grille, revised front bumper and headlamps. The SUV’s new model now complies with the new crash-test norms that were implemented in late 2019. Furthermore, the BS6 Bolero also meets the upcoming pedestrian safety norms that will be enforced in October. While a digital instrument cluster is standard across the range, the static bending headlamps, fog lamps and a passenger side airbag are exclusively offered on the top-spec trim. The SUV has side facing third row of seats with a lap belt. Though, it misses out on the rear AC vents.
For power, the 2020 Mahindra Bolero BS6 uses a 1.5L, 3- cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine that has been calibrated to the meet the BS6 emission standards. The oil burner, paired with a 5-speed-manual gearbox, returns a claimed power of 75bhp. The SUV comes with RWD (rear-wheel-drive) system only.
