Hyundai Eon hatchback will soon be replaced by the new Santro in the Indian market. In order to clear the stock, the carmaker is offering a huge discount of Rs 60,000 on the vehicle. The Hyundai Eon’s discount scheme includes a cash discount of Rs 45,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000. Currently, the Hyundai Eon hatchback is available in the price range of Rs 3.32 lakh (for the entry-level 0.8L D-Lite variant) – Rs 4.70 lakh (for the range-topping 1.0L Magna (O) variant). All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. After discount, the base version will cost you around Rs 2.72 lakh and the top-spec variant will be around Rs 4.10 lakh.

The new-generation Hyundai Santro (AH2) is ready to hit showrooms on 23rd October, 2018. The South Korean carmaker has confirmed that the new Santro will be its first car to get an AMT (automated manual transmission) gearbox. Though, the engine details are still under the wraps.

Reports suggest that the new Hyundai Santro 2018 will come with a 1.1-litre petrol engine that’s good for 65bhp of power. The hatchback might also be offered with the conventional 5-speed manual gearbox. In terms of design, the new Santro will look edgier and sportier than the old model. Feature-wise, the new Hyundai Santro 2018 will surely be more up-market than its replacement. It might share the twin pod instrument console with the Grand i10 hatchback. Aiming to enhance its safety quotient, Hyundai might offer an optional dual airbags and ABS on the carline.
